North Point Park

So I happen to have one of the best seats in the building... 10th floor, right next to the window, with a great view of the Zakim Bridge, racing duck boats (in the water) and the progress on North Point Park. Today, we looked out the window, and they have put fake little animals on the grass! I can only guess that they are meant to "scare" away birds from eating the seeds for the grass.... They had better not be permanent fixtures!

The park is really beginning to look great. I remember running across mounds of dirt to get to the "dirty water" of the River Charles to watch the Sox parade go by on the duck boats. Now, it really looks like a park - how exciting! I get to have lunches outside in the freezing temperatures, as that is when the park looks to be finished.

Looking forward to a mini-Ladies' night tonight. A few of us are going to Frances' for some wine, cheese, chocolate, fruit, etc. What a yummy dinner!!
